Rejoice!
Why is this happening? What is God doing? I knew just what I wanted. And then, splat! God stepped on it. Just look at it. It’s ruined! Now I’ll have to want something else. God wants what is best for me.
Rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings.
